This is the part where a lot of people fail. They make a decision to write their own articles and then look at a blank page on their computer, having no idea what to write. The question a lot of people ask is how to go about creating an article?

If you look around at people who are writing their own articles, they say the hardest part is starting. They are concerned about writer's block, but often it isn't writer's block, but having no idea what to do.

People would have written in school but like a lot of skills learnt in school they are forgotten because they are not needed in their everyday living. When you were in school you would have written essays and you would always have an introduction, conclusion and then the main body of text. Writing articles is the same except you are using fewer words.

How often did you start to write the main body, before you wrote the introduction and conclusion? It doesn't matter which order your article writing takes, as long as the end result is a good quality article, which flows.

The beauty of creating your article by using your computer is that you can edit it easily. Because of that, you are able to write exactly what your thoughts are, and then go back making the necessary changes. You will take longer to write your article if you edit as you go along, but if you write and then edit you will be surprised at how quickly you can complete the task. It only takes a few seconds to cut and paste an area of your article to another part of the same article, which will enable a better flow to the article.

When you are faced with a blank screen, think about the story you want to create. How you want to draw the reader into your story so that they will open up their wallets to buy whatever you are selling them.

Make sure that the article talks to them, not at them, and certain don't talk down to them. People want to be able to make their own decisions but so often they need a little guidance to go in the right direction.

You will have succeeded when the person has read your article and decides that they must buy the product. But it has nothing to do with the article, because they know in their own mind, that they made that decision. That is a perfect article which you have created.
